Therapy Practice
Hello! My name is Abby, and I believe that the therapeutic relationship is at the core of counseling. This is one of the many reasons I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel validated and begin their healing journey. A client centered approach is at the core of my counseling orientation, and my primary goal is to meet each client where they are. I aim to be a resource, work collaboratively, and empower clients to work toward their goals.
As an LGBTQIA+ certified coach, it is of utmost importance to me to provide an affirming and inclusive space for all. Many LGBTQIA+ folx have been impacted by the messages they have received from others about who they are. I hope to be a guide for clients as they explore those narratives, and help them to rewrite more positive, empowering ones. I am also kink and poly friendly and plan to obtain a sex therapy certification post-graduation.

Self-Care
In my free time, I enjoy being outside and relaxing with my three dogs, Olive, Scout, and Luna. I believe self-care is important, and have been incorporating more mindfulness based practices, such as meditation, into my life.
