Clinical Mental Health Counselor, MS
Whether you are looking for counseling for your yourself or for your family members, I would enjoy working with you to provide a warm, safe, and supportive atmosphere to explore your needs.
Play is the language of children. Play is our first language. Child-Centered Play Therapy focuses on children being resilient and intuitive beings. Play therapy is an effective tool for addressing cognitive, behavioral and emotional challenges caused by abuse, bullying, divorce, trauma, grief and loss. Play therapy provides a fun and natural setting which allows for positive interpersonal interaction. I enjoy working in both directive and non-directive play therapy to help children achieve success in their goals.
I enjoy working with children and adults of any age, gender, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. Together we may address a range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationships, grief and loss, career or work related challenges, and self-esteem issues.

License, Certificates, & Awards
I am currently under the clinical supervision of Tish Weikel, NCC, LPC, DBT-C as I work towards obtaining my license in mental health counseling. I am also supervised by Jacqueline George, LCSW, RPT-S, CAAP-S where I am working towards my goal as a registered play therapist.
I enjoy working out and lifting weights. Many times we are not able to take time out in our day, so little moments become important. I am a creative person and I enjoy painting, photography, and crafting to reduce stress. Sometimes there’s nothing like a good cup of tea to warm your insides. But, my favorite self-care is playing with my menagerie of pets.
