Therapy Practice
My name is Kim (she/her/hers), and I am a counselor intern pursuing my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling while working under the supervision of Tish Weikel, NCC, LPC. I am so glad that you are here! I strive to provide a judgment-free and collaborative therapeutic environment that supports growth and healing.
My approach to counseling is rooted in Person-Centered Theory with a focus on expressive arts and trauma-informed care. It is my belief that healing and change happen when clients experience the safety, autonomy, creative freedom, and empowerment to explore their experiences and strengths. I collaborate with clients to develop meaningful therapeutic goals that reflect their values, strengths, and lived experiences. Your identity matters, and I am committed to honoring your unique story throughout the counseling process.

Self-Care
My self-care activities include rock climbing, hiking with my pups, and recharging in nature. Aside from being a lover of the outdoors, I am a photographer and multimedia artist who always has at least one ongoing art project on her self-care to-do list. Staying active both physically and creatively helps me to remain connected with my mind, body, and soul. I believe that as we become more connected to our centered self, we also become more connected with those around us.
